The European Union’s RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directives 2002/95/EC-2015/863/EU states that “Member states shall insure that, from 4 June, 2015, new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market does not contain Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB), Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE), Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate (DEHP): max 0.1%, Benzyl Butyl Phthalate (BBP): max 0.1%, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP): max 0.1%, or Diisobutyl Phthalate (DIBP): max 0.1%.”
Based on the information provided to us by the suppliers of raw materials used in the manufacture and delivery of our products, Allied Components International hereby declares all of our standard products are in compliance with the 2011/65/EU-2015/863/EU (RoHS RoHS 2 & RoHS 3) directives and require no exemptions.
On October 28, 2008, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) released a list of substances of very high concern (SVHC). This list is updated by the ECHA twice a year with newly added substances.
Allied Components International declares that to the best of our knowledge through engineering evaluation and material supplier feedback, all standard catalog products supplied by Allied Components International do not contain any of the substances referenced on our declaration above acceptable levels which are less than 0.1% weight per weight (less than 1000mg/kg,ppm).
